Privacy Policy

How Zoharlink handles personal information and your privacy rights.

Last updated: 29 August 2026

Who we are

Zoharlink is an independently operated digital tools and content platform. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@zoharlink.com.

This policy is intended to explain our practices in clear language, including information relevant to people in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and other regions with data-protection rights.

Local-first tool data

Zoharlink is designed around a local-first model. Information you enter into supported tools — such as invoices, customers, items, notes, budgets, cashbook entries and financial records — is stored in your browser on your own device unless a feature clearly tells you otherwise.

We do not use Google Analytics to collect the content you create inside the tools. Clearing your browser storage can permanently remove local data, so keep your own backups of anything important.

Personal data we may process

Although tool content stays on your device, some limited information may be processed when you visit or contact us.

  • Website and security data: hosting and network systems may process IP address, request time, requested URL, browser/device information and technical logs needed to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site.
  • Optional analytics data: if you choose to allow analytics, Google Analytics may receive page paths, page titles, device/browser information, approximate location derived from network information and coarse product-usage events such as opening a tool or exporting a file. We do not intentionally send user-entered tool content.
  • Correspondence: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include in the message.
  • Preferences: theme, language, font size, currency, privacy choices and similar settings may be stored locally in your browser.

Why we process information

We use information only for defined purposes: to provide and secure the website, respond to messages, maintain reliability, understand broad product usage where you have consented, and meet legal obligations where they apply.

  • Consent: optional analytics and any future non-essential tracking that requires consent.
  • Legitimate interests: operating, securing, debugging and improving the service, provided those interests do not override your rights.
  • Steps requested by you or contractual necessity: responding to enquiries or providing a service you ask for.
  • Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law.

Analytics and consent

Google Analytics is optional. The Google Analytics tag is not loaded until you actively choose to allow analytics in the privacy banner. You may reject optional analytics and continue using Zoharlink.

You can change your choice later using the “Privacy choices” control in the footer. If you withdraw analytics consent, Zoharlink stops further Analytics collection from this site and attempts to remove first-party Google Analytics cookies for the current site.

Service providers and recipients

We may rely on service providers to host the website, deliver email, protect the service and, only with your consent, provide analytics. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments and only for the relevant service purpose.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not sell the business records you create with Zoharlink tools.

International processing

Some service providers may process information in countries outside your own. Where data-protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, we rely on the safeguards made available by the relevant provider and applicable law, such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual protections.

Retention

Local tool data remains on your device until you delete it or clear site storage. Correspondence is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to answer the enquiry, maintain necessary business records or meet legal obligations. Technical logs and analytics data are retained according to operational need and the configured retention periods of the relevant hosting or analytics service.

Your data-protection rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights over personal data we hold about you. These can include the rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To make a privacy request, email hello@zoharlink.com. We may need enough information to verify and respond to the request. You may also have the right to complain to the data-protection or privacy authority in your country, including an EEA supervisory authority or the UK Information Commissioner's Office where applicable.

Automated decisions and children

Zoharlink does not use personal information collected through the site to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

The service is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through accounts or cloud profiles. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us by email, contact us so we can review the request.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the platform, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page before or when the changed processing starts.
